Hey Webflow fam! 👋
Quick personal story I wanted to share with you today.
When I started my Webflow journey in 2021, I was dead set against creating content. "I'm a developer, not a content creator," I kept telling myself.
But something interesting happened when I finally started sharing:
1. My development process got cleaner
Having to explain things forced me to organize my thoughts. What used to be "intuitive" decisions became clear, documented processes.
2. Client communication improved dramatically
Creating tutorials made me better at explaining technical concepts. Now my client meetings are shorter and more effective.
3. Found gaps in my knowledge
You never really know something until you try teaching it. Every piece of content I create makes me a better developer.
What I Learned
The best part? Everything I create now serves multiple purposes:
• Tutorial videos become client onboarding materials
• Process docs become project templates
• Code snippets become reusable components
Quick Tip of the Week
Start documenting your process, even if you never share it. The simple act of organizing your thoughts will make you better at what you do.
What's Coming Next Week
• The complete Client Communication Framework
• Templates for project handoff
• Process documentation guide
Keep building awesome things!
Best,
Sebastian Bimbi
P.S. Have you tried documenting your own process? Reply to this email - I'd love to hear your experience!
